I put a jack plate on my last Lund to move the motor back for transducer clearance.

Picture of the back of your boat will help a lot, the Transducer should be mounted about 15″ to the right of the big motor for best images.

You put a transducer on the port AND starboard side.
Will need second transducer and a si y cable.

Will give optimum SI clarity regardless of whether you have motor interference or not.

Your transducer is shooting into the side of your motor. Thats why it works when you tilt the motor out of the way.

Move ducer lower and then tilt up a couple degrees. I barely have to tilt mine up to get a clear picture. My ducers are mounted port side due to the boarding ladder at starboard (HDSI and Compact for 2D with the Y splitter).
