I have a 2019 Competitor 175 CS with a 115 SHO on it. I believe the dealer rigged it incorrectly.. I just went to change the fuel/water separator, and noticed that while it is plumbed, it is NOT plumbed into the main fuel line – it’s plumbed into the aux fuel line.
I do not have a kicker, so the aux bulkhead connection is not used.
My question is if anyone can tell me which pickup on the tank is supposed to be for main and which one is supposed to be for aux. Does it even make a difference? I’d like to get this buttoned up ASAP, so any help would be greatly appreciated – even if it’s nothing more than “I went out and looked in my bilge area and my main connection is the only one connected and it’s plumbed to <this one>”.
