Left work at 11 to take the 6 hour round trip to get the bear bait station set up and pulled cards… LOST a ton of pictures because I was in a hurry but this is one that I was able to salvage. Tons of does and a few smaller. Would be nice to see this in November.

Eric, you have a very stacked deck this year, should be a great fall for you.

August 27, 2018 at 2:29 pm #1794037Being a zone 1 hunter I’m sure glad I don’t look at any of these pics. One might develope antler envy or something.
August 28, 2018 at 5:59 am #1794123Pulled a card from one of my other spots last night. Nice to see this guy show up

I’m going to be a little spread out this year. I’m fine with a spike but nice to see a few nice bucks walking around. Just north of the cities and south of the cites. Going to attach a picture from our WI spot. Going to be a fun fall like always.
September 4, 2018 at 9:43 am #1795294One from our WI spot looks young but man sure looks good. Hope someone from our group gets a chance at him.

September 5, 2018 at 8:12 pm #1795686Dang Hoyt that a nice one, by the body it doesnt look to be that old either, real good genetics an nutrition.
Best one I’ve had so far, No clear picture of him to tell for sure if he is out of velvet in this picture yet or not, Tines look thinner than a picture from early August but maybe just lighting messing with the exposure. Cant see them well in here but on another picture you can see he has forked G2’s on both sides (small forks, like a Turkey spur size once velvet is off probably) Have two other 10 points on camera also which seems to be a rare animal around us, almost all of them seem to stop at 8 or 9 points.

deertrackerPosts: 9237September 5, 2018 at 8:48 pm #1795697I’m not positive, but he does have some similar characteristics and is hanging out in the same area as the one I missed last fall with my bow, i’m going to pretend he is the same one whether he is or not.
Picture of the one I missed last year below

September 12, 2018 at 6:58 am #1797122Some good looking deer here. Hope we all have some luck this weekend. Here was the last card pull before the season. I could sneak in an get this camera without disturbing the woods too much. I would be happy with a fork or whatever but I really want to shoot this old buck. We are thinking he is 8 plus years old. Have 4 years of pictures of him. Top picture is a new 10 that just starting showing up. The 2nd and last are of the older buck we would like to get on the ground finally after years of seeing him.

September 16, 2018 at 1:08 pm #1797815Put up some trail cameras last week at my in-law’s land and went out to check them today. Some deer, what looks like a black bear, and a fox. No turkeys. Their photos usually have me chuckling.
