I have a 2018 2025 impact xs and wondering if there is an easier way to get access behind the dash/steering wheel area to run some wires besides taking the panel off where the toggle switches are? Hoping from or side panel could come of for better access? I tried to find away and can’t figure it out. Any advice you could share is much appreciated. Thanks!
You can crawl under the dash, take out the fuse panel or take out the master switch plate.
All are very easy.
There are a couple of wiring passages to the front and the rear, they are a little harder to find.
I usually do everything laying on the floor looking up under the dash. Taking out the switch panel is easy, I pull the 6 or 8 screws gently and pull the panel out, but don’t disconnect anything. There should be enough slack in all those harnesses to set it off to the side while you work
