Does this model have the rod storage between the Front windows on the floor?

It has rod storage in the floor as you mentioned and side rod storage as well. I’m not certain, because I haven’t had many rod in there but I believe there are 8 spots in the floor and three one the side.

Did you even get 100 hours on it before you got the Yacht? doah

I remember seeing that boat at SBC the day you came in for rigging. Very, very pretty boat and well laid out. You will be sorry you let this go.

I’m thinking 115 but certainly less then 125.

The Solara is just too heavy to put on the swim platform. )

I’m not missing the old Lund, but I’m sure going to miss this girl.

40′ is good. Although wider would be nice at times.

I don’t know yet. If I could just get the FW to go through a lock and not freak out anchoring over night….

She wants a house boat tied to a slip (all the time) and I’m more adventurous with cruisers and going places.

Go with a larger yacht and keep the Skeeter. If you find the right size yacht, the Skeeter will be a nice little ornament on the back.

Great looking boat BK! Good luck selling! I’m sure that’s one well maintained and babied rig.

If I did go larger, I would be looking for a heliport and not an 18′ 150 horse dingy. )

Well Dutchy, we would be talking if you had a 54′ Carver.

I have it all planned out. Sell the Skeeter, sell the 40′ Carver and the house. Move into the 54′ Carver and drift down the river for the winter months.

Only one fly in the ointment. FW says no… not just no, but a hard NO. (I’m still negotiating)

Well, this one won’t work out for me right now, but I wish that wasn’t the case. For anyone else interested BK very graciously allowed me to come and take a look in person and for any doubters out there, it’s a VERY nice rig and well taken care of. I couldn’t find a single scratch, scuff or mark even on the bottom of the hull. Very impressive for a boat that spends time on the river! It’s loaded with all the stuff a guy would want to get some serious fishing done on big water. Thanks again BK!
