Well done! Do you fish those river Muskie’s any different? I understand the habitat difference but do you use more topwater vs Bucktail type stuff? As you can tell I know nothing about Fly Fishing. Can you even use a Bucktail or Ttopwater on a Fly rod?

Those are some big pike, bigpike! Guessing you didn’t get them around Phillips WI. And to think…once upon a time you could.

Hey Big Pike, I’ve got to get lessons from you. 13# was my new pb about 10 years about. Tied it three trips in a row now and can’t break my plateau. Posting my latest over in the Rainy forum.

    Beautiful fish there!!

It has been long enough I can post pictures without worry. A couple 16# pike.

late January early February pike. Was on a phenominal bite for a few weeks. All fish on homemade flies and bucktail jigs.

Here was one of my favorite fish of the year. My brother caught his personal best musky and walleye with me in the same day. This one bit a cowgirl right at moonrise. Gotta love July!

Since i’m reminiscing, here is another one from last fall. My buddy Ryan caught it towards the end of a long day of chainsawing our way into the lake. That was a mean winter storm….. If my memory serves me right, it ate a 13″ Mattlock
