I’m curious if there are any other owners of this configuration and what you do (if anything) as far as transom savers. In my experience so far, I need to trim the motor up during transport and that position tends to make the motor flop from side to side pretty harshly when navigating around corners. Even when transporting in the vertical position the motor will flop back and forth. The motor has a steering friction control lever, but the manufacturer recommends NOT locking it during transport because it may get damaged. I’m wondering if some type of transom support arm would cure my motor flop problem. It seems there are a lot of different brands to chose from and I’m hoping I could get some suggestions or experiences (good & bad) from you folks.

If the locking mechanism is similar to Yamahas, I would lock it down. My guess is they don’t want that to become too loose where it loses its ability to tighten the motor when on the water.
