2017 Fountain City Rod and Gun Club Team Bass and Walleye Tournament

The 2017 Fountain City Rod and Gun Club Team Bass and Walleye tournament will be held on Saturday August 05, 2017.

Tournament entry fee is $100 per boat with payout of:

1st place: $1800
2nd place: $1000
3rd place: $700
4th place: $500
5th place: $350

This payout is for both the bass and walleye category based off 50 boats per respected field.

There is also an optional $10 big fish pot per team for both fields.

Take off and weigh in will be at the public boat landing on the south end of Fountain City. Fishing is allowed on pools 5, 5A, 6.

Entry forms can be downloaded off the club website at http://www.fcrodgun.com

We can also e-mail or mail entry forms if needed.

In addition we are giving away 10 rod and reel combos and 10 tackle boxes filled with tackle to kids that show up for the weigh in. The kids just need to show up and get a FREE ticket stub. After the weigh in we will randomly draw for the rod and reel combos along with the tackle boxes and give them away. The kids do need too be present, when we draw for these rod and reel combos.

We are getting lots of boats signing up in both bass and walleye categories. Reminder early bird entry is August 1st @ midnight. This determines boat positions threw a drawing. After that boat position is determined by when we received the entry form. You can also sign up the morning of the tournament. Get there early and have correct cash amount for entry, $100.

TTT. Entries are up this year. Looks like a heck of a turnout in both bass and walleye divisions. If anyone needs information give me a call. River is in great shape and it’s going to be awesome weather.

Also there will be 2 drawings for the entered tournament fishermen @ no cost. 1 each for walleye and bass division.

There will be 23 drawings at the weigh in for kids. Fish poles and tackle boxes filled. Get the kids too the weigh in and get them a free drawing ticket. Pretty good deal. Not alot of tournaments do this to get the kids involved. Good family time. Thanks.
