2016 Officer Schneider Memorial Pool 4 Tournament Entry's Available!!!!

Kindly find attached the 2016 entry for the 5th Annual Officer Schneider Memorial Fishing Tournament which will be held on July 16, 2016 out of Lake City MN. we did have to push it out a week later this year due to the 4th of July holiday week. For all that have participated in the past – you know how fun this tournament, dinner and banquet is. For those that wish to give it a try – we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible as we only allow 100 boats. So far this great event has raised $22,000 for scholarships to kids who will be going into a law enforcement career in memory of Officer Schneider. This is a great opportunity for the fishing community to give back and meet some of the kids whom have been awarded scholarships at this event. Thanks to all that have already entered and it is looking to be another great turnout!! We will be allowing teams to sign up the morning of the tournament. We will be registering and checking in boats beginning at 5 am at Fiesta Foods grocery store in lake city on July 26th. Looks like we will have Some additional challenges with the river / lake levels coming up fast. Will definitely make it a fun and interesting tournament!!!

With the river projected to rise 2 feet and flow go up 16,ooo the day of the tournament it should create some real challenges for sure….watch out for debris floating in the river…..82,000 is the projected flow by sat pm. Be careful out there guys!!

I will get results posted tomorrow. Lots of fish caught and a lot of close weights. 1st was around 14.5lbs down to 8th with 11.05 lbs. lots of limits but on small size this year. Big walleye was 5.7 lbs. we had a total of 46 boats and everyone had a great time as always!!
