    2016 Freeze Your Butt
    Tourny info and rules
    Saturday March 5th 2016
    – Cost is $65 per 2-person team. $5 optional big fish pot. Entry is paid on the day of the tourney.
    – Tourney hours: 7am-3pm. Take off will be by boat number order. You will be assigned a number when you enter. Weigh in is 3:00.
    – NO culling is allowed. Once a fish is placed in your livewell it must stay there until AFTER weigh-in and must be counted towards your daily limit
    – You may weigh in early. I will have the scales ready at noon. If you weigh in early, you are done for the day and that weight is final.
    – This event will take place at Everts Resort. The launch fee will be waived. You may launch elsewhere if you choose, but please come early and check-in and let us know you came by boat.
    -Staging will be right out from the large dock. If you are going downstream please stage towards to bottom of the dock and upstream stage towards the top. Take off will begin at 7 sharp. Please do not leave before your boat number is called, and use caution when you take off.
    – Weigh your best 5 fish, Can have a legal 2 man limit in boat.
    -Walleye and Sauger count as legal fish. 15″ minimum on walleye and sauger.
    – Fish should be kept alive and in “Releasable” condition for weigh in. We would like to see fish larger than 20 inches returned to the water. You may keep others for personal use. All fish will be returned to the teams after weigh in.
    – Please have your boat number ready when you weigh in.
    – You must identify your Big Fish at weigh in.
    – Max 2 lines per angler and 2 anglers per boat. All other Minnesota and Wisconsin fishing laws apply.
    – All participants must abide by all Minnesota and Wisconsin boating laws.
    – Boundaries are all of pool 4 Dam to Dam & Track to Track.
    – Take off and weigh-in is at Everts Resort.
    – Take off will be by boat number order.
    – Weigh in will be on the upstream most dock.
    – This tournament is a Skeeter Real Money Qualifier.

    – Please be a good sportsman and don’t crowd in on other competitors or other pool 4 fishermen. Observe all no wake areas – marked or un marked.
    -This is an informal and laid back event. There will be the traditional tourny strength lunch after the weigh-in, courtesy of the Bluffs Bar and Grill.
    The Bluffs Bar and Grill will be the location for the results, awards, and lunch, so be sure to stop there after the tourny.
    So, grab your fishing partner and come join us for this great event. We look forward to seeing everyone again FREEZE YOUR BUTT!!!!

    We recognize the importance of boat number order on take off. So, as we did last year, participants who want to lock in a position early can do so. Here are the rules:

    1. We will begin reserving take off spots on-line starting on Monday, February 22rd at 7pm.

    2. There will be a post in the walleye tournament forum for sign up that will be unlocked at 7pm 2/22/2016. Entries are made by replying to this post. The post should include the names of both participants.

    I would go with 60. The forecast for next week and the 2nd half of February looks fantastic. Early spring.

    Is this strictly walleye and sauger? And for the extra $5 big fish pot is that any big fish? And what’s the winning prizes?

    This is walleyes, sauger and saugeyes. The big fish pot is for one of those 3 fish only.

    Prizes are cash prizes. How much each place pays and how many places we pay will depend on how many boats enter.
