C_W, that bass in pic 5 is a toad! Did you get a weight on it, I would guess its around 6lbs.

Here is a nice 4.2lb bass that decided to bother me

The “Wacky Woman” has returned from college and wanted to go fishing – how can you argue with that? We went out and she caught 5 smallmouth – starting with 2 at 17 inches, the next at 17.5, the fourth at 18.5 and the final a 20 inch, 5.11 pound bronze back! All on 5 inch Kalin’s Wac-O-Worms. Great to have her home for the summer toast

He was just shy of 5.5, he had a wacky hook and 2″ of line stuck in his cheek so he got the best of someone else earlier in the day.

Had a very good day up on Mille Lacs this last
Saturday. Caught 18 Smallmouth, and 15 of those
were 19 inches up to 21 1/2 inches, with 2 of
those over 21 inches. Conditions were about
    perfect. Awesome Day.

Memorial day on my favorite east Metro Bass lake. A top water fish that fought like mad, she made two long runs which is unusual for a Bass. Very exciting fish.

Thanks Nick. I did manage to get out to that local metro lake you and I talked about last year. I only managed a couple there but it was fun. Looks like one I caught was the victim of one of those big pike I keep hearing about ~

Made it out for our annual Summer Smallie trip. Another fun and great trip fished all day Saturday and all day Sunday. Numbers way up size was down a little for average but still managed 11 or 12 over 20″. A ton of fish in the 19 inch range was a blast and not too many people around which was nice. Had one spot we hit put 18 fish in the boat in 10 minutes it was insane. Couldn’t get the fish in the boat fast enough to get another cast in.Many triples caught this weekend, did get some go pro footage hope to have that soon.

Another 5#4oz bass. Caught the other one this time of year last year. I sure hope there’s an 8#+ waiting for me and 5# isn’t the max.

Nice! Interesting to see the differences in her fish and mine of similar size. Granted, mine is a pond bass, but the head/mouth is bigger and your daughters is more stout.

I did not. Picked up a few more just short of 20 before headed home to the AC. Definitely a big fish day not numbers.

Here’s a couple 5 pounders from the last week. A 5.27 from my club tournament in Birchwood WI, and the other from Mille Lacs.
