Still plenty of time to get signed up. Some don’t sign up because they feel they will hold their team back. No one cares. Heck, I’m picky and haven’t shot a buck in a few years.

I’ll apologize in advance like I did last year. To my future team, sorry you got screwed by getting stuck with me. The short term forecast looks like the most hunting I’ll be doing is with the video camera in Colorado with no tag. Trade shows and dealer visits this time of year interferes with hunting – sorry guys. But then, just maybe, I’ll have a few cancellations and slip out to my farm

Huh wah? What, who, where? OK, I’m awake. Geeze.

Yeah, count me in, but just to issue an advanced apology/warning to my future team, I’m essentially the “handicap factor”. In fact, maybe the contest management should put me on a team that needs to be taken down a notch, because I’m just the man to sandbag an otherwise great team into mediocrity.

1. I have zero shooter bucks on my property right now, so I’d have to see a hell of an outsider.
2. I hunt with a handgun, so I need a standing <100 shot.
3. I have no idea what the movement patterns are now that I uprooted the property by dozing in food plots this spring.

It’ll be an adventure.

I dunno. From the pics you’ve shared, an old school, Finnlander-style, if-it’s-brown-it’s-down deer drive on your farm should net a few of ’em.

I’ve got my Wisconsin Tommygun (Remington 742) auto all oiled up and ready.
