2015 Pool 2 Hog Haul Results! 5th Annual

First, thank you to Mike W and all of the sponsors for putting this event together. My small contribution was to take a few pics and video and post the results. Always happy to help out.
    Our valued sponsors:
    Indepth Outdoors
    Rapala
    Prescott Bait Company
    Tuned Up Custom Rods (TUCR)
    B Fishing Tackle
    Skeeter Boat Center.
    Odyssey Battery

    First Place – Marty S. Kendall P. Matt B. $590 121.50 inches (New Record!)
    Second Place – Dustin B. Tad E. $355 115.75 inches
    Third Place – Drew E, Laura E and Phil E. $240 110 inches
    Big Fish – Dustin B. Tad E. $240 28 inches

All teams that cashed, please make sure to post your pics here or send to Mike. All pictures, videos and accounts from the day are welcome! More the better.

The food and company after weigh in was a highlight as usual. Could not ask for better weather. Looks like all teams got fish with most getting a 5 fish limit. The bite is shaping up very good for this fall. Looking forward to hitting it hard from now till ice up!

Here is a video of the awards payout and pics of the top three teams. One more tag on the pool 2 wood! Already looking forward to next year!

    -J.

Here is our 121.5″ total for team Kendall P, Marty S, and Matt B. Special thanks to Mike W for putting on this great tournament. The food and great camaraderie is always the highlight of the tournament for me.

I can’t wait until next year.

Great event, I had fun, good meeting some of you guys. We caught a few fish, buy hey someone’s gotta be last. I’ll pics up soon.

When back at the landing a few of us were talking about converting inches to lbs like AIM does. So I went ahead and did so using AIMs conversion chart for the top 3 places.

    1st- 29.39
    2nd- 26.85
    3rd- 21.4

For an interesting comparison, the top 5 from the AIM tourney in May.
    1st- 36.65 (pool 2)
    2nd- 31.83 (pool 2)
    3rd- 31.28
    4th- 24.30
    5th- 24.25

Pretty neat comparison Tim. Throw in the time of year we have this contest and these guys put together some fantastic numbers.

Are top 5. I might have to get Tad a longer bump board for next year.

I did get a little nervous when I netted that guy, but we had an inch to go. Man, that 26″ was a toad!
Thank you, Mike, always a blast. My 4th time and finally in the mix.

Couple of pics of our fish. My wife had a blast, she was herding the sheep all day but did manage one of our walleyes. Can you see the lure in the last photo? Pretty cool sight, rear hook was in the back of its throat.
