Put her down sticker!! That Bucks looks to be pretty nice Randy..hope you get em .. Saw my first buck of the year on Sunday nite but he was pretty small so I let him walk..can’t wait to get out this weekend again..should be pretty decent with the cool down. The skeeters were just terrible the last time out.
Here I sit again, looking for one of those giants, like the ones that have fallen so far. Cool again tonight and the wind at my left side. Hoping the dismissle of the yore last night brings me luck tonight.
We were at the spot close to home. We saw a couple but it was still thick in the wood and could only see their bodies as they passed through. Pretty sure they were does. He was still excited to see something on his first set. I’m headed up north on sunday.

Out in the tree pretty early tonight, all set up and ready to fling an arrow. Pretty good wind, crops are drying down, cloudy and cool. It just might happen tonight.
Cool with a northwest wind tonight. I am hunting over dried down beans, an absolute magnet for deer this time of year. Hopefully I can knock one down tonight. Temps cooling, pressure rising, this could be the night.
It’s windy as heck, snowing pretty good, wet and cold, but this is what it’s all about.I left a warm fire and a fresh bottle of whiskey for this and I have no regrets. They should move tonight
Stupid me, I went to find where it went into the pines and jumped it. Going to go home to watch the Wild game and come back. The arrow looks good though.

It looks like it went in about 3 inches behind the front shoulder, deflected off of a rib and exited behind the last rib. With the angle of the shot there is no way it should have come out where it did without hitting something. I suppose since he is only pulling 42 pounds that it can’t just power through the ribs.
