I just noticed we don’t have a Flathead Catfish Photo Thread. The year that I’m catching flats right and left and we don’t have a photo board. I’ll go ahead and fill it up with pics.

It’s been a pretty good year so far as we’re starting to wind down on the flats over the next month and move into Lake Sturgeon fishing.

FBRM, we need to change the state fish. I find it offensive.

No no no. We don’t want to do that.

Don’t need to create a put and take flathead fishery like the state fish.

Just curious, what is the Minnesota State Fish? Iowa has the Channel cat but you can still keep a limit. Good looking flatties Brian. Yours too Steve. I think I need to try harder.

35″x23″ caught last night. Personal best for me, and the first one of size for at least a year. Also caught a 10lb channel yesterday, not a lot of fish caught, but the ones we did find were good size.

It’s been a busy week of flathead rash. This is looking good after 5 days of healing
