May 2, 2015 at 11:02 pm #1540365Took my boys out to the Minnesota river near Fort Snelling Park. They were so excited to go catch their first channel cats! Luckily I was able to get them each a fish. A 6-11 and a 3-11, still figuring out how to fish the rivers!

I’m looking for places to fish from shore like Colvill or Bay Point or under the bridge. Are there any cats in these places that are reachable from shore? I came from Prescott and frequently caught them from my own beach and now am not sure where to throw the line in.
