2013 MX 2025 rod locker

I have had this 13 2025 for a year, love the boat, just took it out again this past weekend and discovered that the front middle rod locker had mold on my rods/socks. none of the other lockers had that condition. I have had the boat covered /outside and used it 6 weeks ago in AR. I have had many boats under same conditions and never had a mold issue. any suggestions other that blocking up rod locker for ventilation ?? do they make a ventilation fan for that compartment that anyone has had success with

You mistakenly posted this in the Ranger forum. Try again under the Skeeter forum and I’m sure the guys will be right on it.

My 1825 did it too. Best to leave the compartments open during storage if the cover is on. I was going.to add somee 12V computer fans to the compartments, bit bought a place that had a storage shed instead.

The new MX 2040s come from the factory with a ventilation fan.Called the dry dock ventilation system.
It would likely not be too hard to add one to your boat.
