Looking for some help with my son’s 2013
F-150 and trailer lights. Trailer lights work just fine with another vehicle. We can not get the running lights and blinker/brake lights to work at the same time on the Ford. If we change the 20amp block fuse we can get one of them to work but not at the same time. Any ideas or suggestions?
    Thanks in advance.

Check the ground wire on the top of frame by rear bumper.

Do the brake lights work? May be a different fuse. Also, check the actual connection right behind the rear bumper. That can come loose a lot. I’ve also got a 2013 F150 where I’ve had to chase multiple trailer light issues…

Brake lights work with blinker lights.
I did check the connection behind the bumper. Seems to be okay, May replace if there are no other options.
Seems to be related to fuse or relay?

Ford is notorious for cheap plastic coating on a too small gauge wire.
Check the wiring connecter at the rear harness, should be above and behind the spare tire.
From there to the receptacle is known for corroding in two.
The trailer connecter itself is known for corrosion issues as well inside of it.

Thanks IB1. I was thinking that could be a point of failure. I think I will start with replacing that.
Please let me know if any other ideas you may have.
    I will report back.
