2012 Yamaha Grizzly, bought new from Moon Motorsports, completely customized for ice fishing. Camoplast Tatou T4S tracks, Otter boxes front and back, side mounted OtterBox rod box to the port side, Otter Auger Holder on the starboard side. Ram Mounts for Garmin 680T Montana GPS and Humminbird Helix 5 (electronics not included). 480 miles – never used for anything but ice fishing, tracks as new condition, garaged year-round. Hate to see it go, but not used much in the last two seasons and my competitive ice fishing days are over.
No tires – never had them installed. there are 1-2 of the bogey wheels that may need to be replaced soon ($41/set from Camoplast). The tracks have never seen anything but snow or ice, they ate in excellent condition and look like they have 80 miles on them instead of 480. The engine is perfect, never done anything but routine maintenance, which Moon motorsports has always done. No track slippage whatsoever. New Interstate Battery installed after last season that is a large improvement over the OEM battery it came with, and trickle charger dongle installed because changing the battery or connecting directly to a trickle charger is a pain (have to take the front Otter Box off completely). Ready to go for a full season of ice fishing, and with a full tank of non-oxy, truly turnkey and go.
$8500, pretty firm but will listen to any serious offer. Over 17K invested – priced according to usage and condition, which I feel is very good, after over 20 NAIFC tournaments and 4 NAIFC National Championships and no wheels – I never had any intention of using wheels, this was an ice fishing only machine for me. There is some surface rust here and there – have always tried to give it a good powerwash after every tournament, and usually take CLR to it in the offseason. If I was to keep it and use it another season, I would probably spend a couple hundred bucks on powder coating some of the bars underneath the Front Otter Box.
