2012 Gen 2 transducer

    I have a glassed in transducer in an 1825 MX that is for a Gen 2 non-touch HDS 7. I just replaced it with a Gen 3 model 12 with 3D, and on set up, I am supposed to identify the transducer. Lot of models to choose from. Does anyone know the model number of that unit and will it work with the Gen 3 for 2D sonar?

    I think its the PDRT-WSU…if you don’t have the temp sensor on the back of the boat then its the PDR-WSU. Going from the Gen2 to 3 makes no difference for the 2D transducer. That same transducer has been used on LCX, Gen1 units..etc.

    My transducers have always had an identifying tag on them near the plug in.
