2010 subaru forester gas tank issue

Gas will not go into the tank. I start the pump and gas immediately splashes out. I was thinking maybe a vapor lock? This happened last summer and I called a dealer ship and was told it might be the anti siphon device in the fill hose. The service manager said to drive over some bumps fast. After a out an hour I was able to fill it. Does anybody have any other ideas? I also get a check engine light quite often when it is hot out that is associated with the gas cap.

sounds like the canister purge valve is not releasing pressure build up in the tank,if I am not mistaken,there is a recall on this,google subaru technical service bulletins,enter your year and model,they should have a list of tsb’s,and recalls listed there.good luck!!
