Just testing the waters here … I’m considering selling my 2009 Arctic Cat TZ1 Touring sled. In pretty good condition and has always been a reliable, smooth running sled. A bit of rust from peeling paint on the front end is the only issue I know of. Approx 2800 miles on it. I use it so rarely anymore (ice fishing only) it’s hard to justify keeping it. Maybe put 25 -50 miles on it a year. Track is good, new belt, seat has a minor cut that is sealed up with gorilla tape, nice AC “trunk” on back, nice Yacht Club tilt trailer with new wheels and tires. New LED lights on trailer. Includes a set of ATV rifle mounts that I’ve used to transport ice auger when fishing, Ram ball-mount for GPS/Sonar.

Probably will sell for close to book value. If interested PM me and we can discuss further. Located in Grand Rapids, MN.

Great question? I’m having a hard time finding similar sleds for sale. NADA estimate is around $6,000 for the sled/trailer.

I should add that this includes an Arctic Cat canvas travel cover, new superclamp front tie down, heated seats, heated grips (front and rear) rear set easily on/off. Trailer bed has slides and grip bars for easier loading. Battery new in 2020. Probably more …

Nice rig – I am sure it will sell fast. Wish I could get more time to fish and justify a rig like this.

What size motor? Reverse? Electric start?

Whats the selling price? I’m not playing a guessing game on what you would want for it.

1100 cc Electric start 4-stroke. Reverse. Not looking for guesses … as mentioned earlier in these posts I’m trying to find similar sleds so I can price fairly. At this point I’m looking at pricing the package around $6k, though not sure until I can find some similar sleds for sale – there apparently is not a whole lot available now. $6k is based on NADA average price. If anybody has a real interest with these parameters I can do further research and adjust the price as needed.

You can find full specs and review of the TZ1 here:

It is kinda tough to find a direct comparison. There’s a 2008 with 2500 miles in Michigan on facebook for $5695. I found another 2010 with the 2450 miles in Wisconsin for $4700. Looking at those numbers $6000 would be a steal with the trailer. I don’t know a ton about Cat’s but that was a Suzuki engine and was crazy reliable. Tough chassis too. Good luck!

That chassis was probably the most comfortable machine to ever ride. No disrespect, they aren’t the prettiest but you could ride for days and never know you weren’t sitting on a couch. Good luck on the sale! That’s a great machine and that 1100 will last forever.

Thanks for the info, HDog and CapMuskey. It is indeed a plush ride, as it is intended to be. Rides fine on the trails, too, at least for this old fart.

Arctic Cat’s long-term use of that engine is testament to its reliability.

You need to go to Facebook market. In their search in the market, not regular search(I always make that mistake). You might also need to extend your range (filters on the side in miles) you are looking for things in.
Put it on facebook market to hit a larger audience.

This is all I have at the moment … not what you really wanted to see, except it WAS a great day on LOW! I;ll be able to get a better photo(s) later this week and will post them when I can.

I’d be interested but without the trailer. PM me if you’d consider separating the two and what you’d like for the sled only.

    Thanks,

Here is the sled loaded up on the trailer.

I have decided to offer this for sale. Asking price is $6250, including all the stuff mentioned above. I’m sure there is stuff I forgot to mention … I could probably throw in a helmet or two if needed.

PM me for further inquiries of if you’d like to drop by for a test ride.

If I don’t get any offers by this weekend I’ll post this on Facebook Marketplace and others. So far this is the only posting.
