Ok guys here’s the low down. I have found a 2004 Warrior V193 with a Mercury 225 Optimax, 9.9 Merc 4S kicker and newer Lowrance HDS 10’s and newer Ulterra. The boat and motor have a total of 119 verified hours on it. Entire package looks virtually new, always stored in heated shop. My question is 2 fold. First, is there anything I might need to be aware of that might be of concern? Second, any ideas what it is worth?. Thanks guys.

Base your offer on planning to have the whole fuel system cleaned and hoses repaired. Low hours isn’t always a good thing if gas sits in a system for years.

It’s 17 model years old. If you are paying cash consider that. If you are needing a loan the bank will consider it for you.

Good luck and lets see pictures if you buy it.

I believe certain years of the Opti were better than others. I would get on some engine/boating forums and dig into whether there are specific things to consider/look into on the motor.

I would suggest a full inspection and leak down compression test from a viable source. If a dealership has it, they are certainly in a position to provide that information.

All of the other advice above is great and worth following.

My 2007 Opti has been great. I’ve made some typical maintenance type repairs since owning it but nothing that is out of line from the norm. It’s never left me sit or been unreliable. It has to be around the 500 hour mark or so. Mine really runs the cleanest on the AMSOIL synthetic hp oil (blue jug).
