Been running Lucas Land and Sea 2 stroke oil for couple months now and am blown away by it’s performance. I run it in a 94 120 Johnson, and after alot of work to the engine this spring I’ve become a pretty regular plug checker. Best thing about this oil is that I see alot of no wake zones, and I’ve been trolling with it quite a bit which can be a big no-no on these big motors but man those plugs stay clean!

Was a little skeptical myself honestly when it was recommended to me but I’m a firm believer in it after seeing results. Lower idle, clean plugs, and starts pretty darned well for a 4 banger.

Had to pass the word on.

I have been using Lucas products for many years now and have zero complaints with it.
using their two stroke oils has completely eliminated plug fouling issues in outboards that troll for extended periods.
it still amazes me what their products can do for about anything out there.

How is it for smoke and fumes? I don’t really have any complaints with the valvoline 2 strike oil I use but the FW has been on my case about the stink. It’s only a 50hp but we troll a LOT so could make a difference?

at first it will smoke like crazy but that is only due to the detergents cleaning out all of the dino poo,it may take a couple of tank fulls to do this depending how much crud is trapped in the intake ports, the backside of the pistons, stuck on the rods, and everything in the exhaust housing.

the smell isnt near as bad as conventional two stroke oils either.

I’ll add it took my big gal over 2 tanks to start going almost smokeless, 22 gallon tank.

Recently switched the kicker over to it and while it didn’t have the dino crud smoke bc it had Amsoil hp running through it, the smell and slight smoke did go away. Wasn’t too bad to begin with, but it’s not even noticeable now.

here ya go,type in your area,it will list everyone that sells it in your area.

    https://lucasoil.com/find-a-retailer

I imagine it should be listed in the “Outdoor Line”? It says there is none in my area…
I can select “Automotive” and it gives me about 20 locations but I’m not particularly fond of searching multiple locations for a needle in the haystack. What various retail stores have you guys seen this particular oil at?

I typed in deer river Mn and left the tag line in all tags and hit search.
it brought up several dealers in that are near there, napa, orielleys and such

In the cities here Napa has it in quarts but charge dearly for them. O’Reilly stores don’t carry them ,but can order and pick up at distribution center in Brooklyn Park for $32 or $34ish. Online is your best bet, usually get it around $28-30 with free shipping.

Check with O’Reilly’s stock first, I might’ve bought up what they had so far… devil

Unfortunately Deer River is about 200 miles north of me. And like I said I can keep “All Tags” checked Type my zip and get about 20 stores, but it doesn’t guarantee the Land and Sea is stocked there. I guess I’ll just check out a couple of the local automotive stores when I’m not busy to see if they stock it.
