If I was going to try and run 2 Helix at the same time without networking them would I have a lot of interference?

Depends on a couple of things:

    1) Transducer placement – are they in the same location / going to cover the same part of the water?

    2) Are they running on the same frequencies?

    3) Any reason not to network them & share the same transducers? Less holes in the boat to start with.

Well, the short time that I tried to investigate that seemed to imply that several under dollars of boxes and cables were going to be required to make that happen? Is that a correct assumption?

If just connecting 2 units all you need is a cable to hook them together.

My thought was to just have 2 units so that I could use full screen on each rather than split screen on one.

If you’re only connecting two units you will need a dongle for each head unit + the ethernet cable.

    Qty 2: As Ec Qde

+ One Ethernet Cable of your length… 5′ is the shortest : As Ec 5e

If you later decide to add more (trolling motor / talon / etc) then you’ll need the ethernet hub / etc.. but two items connected get by with the adpaters + the cable

Any of this only applies if both of your units are networking units.
