On the final episode of Season 14 we go through two approaches for targeting shallow water weed walleyes. Casting shadow rap shads and pulling spinners and crawler harnesses.

I have had great luck trolling Beetle Spins and shallow Rapalas number 10`s on ten foot rods and about 20 feet of line out just above the weeds if the weeds are sub surface and not forming a mat.

I have done this as well with the Beetle Spins. Crazy how well it works at times.

Casting swim baits over the weeds can be VERY effective. Another method is a black 1/4 oz marabou jig with a Mr Twister Meeney tail trailer, just swim it slow and steady.
