I had a 1998 – 1850 Tyee with a 3.0 merc i/o. I had a 19 pitch Hi-5 on it, it took a bit to get on plane but I believe it was normal for the 135 horse power. I see your boat has been repainted, was it damaged in the rear and they installed the wrong foam? I thought that the foam used for boyance was a closed cell type so it would not take in water?

900 lb I/O and a 100 lb kicker plus an extra 100 lbs or so of motor cover, motor mounts and structure to support.

Hard to plane seems about right.

    Purchase and install trim tabs

    Problem sort of solved

How do you define real low?

Is the motor running properly? Achieving right RPM? Right prop?

The Lund Catalog for 1999 states that your boat has a 205-hp with a 36 gallon tank, poured in flotation foam and weighed 2495 pounds.
