Good running 97′ Chevy K1500 Silverado edition. Have owned for 5 years. Engine always starts and 4×4 works great. 160,831 miles. I am driving it as is currently, but does need some work (see below).

The bad:
Clear coat peel on the top of topper. One small spot on top of truck cab
Rust on door bottoms/cab
Gas tank leaks if filled over half full
AC not working
Break system randomly making strange noises, something with the ABS possibly
Occasionally truck will shake if going up a hill in overdrive if it doesn’t downshift. Transmission shifts fine otherwise
Will need new tires eventually
