I just bought this boat for cheap (very Cheap) and it runs great… however being mechanically inclined I cant for the life of find the sending unit for the gas gauge in the gas tank… It has the gauge on the dashboard and wires hooked up to it. the night lite works so I am assuming its not a fake… But assuming sometimes is not the best thing to do…

So the answer to my question is you need to remove the tank strap and all lines and slide the tank to the starboard side because all the connections re underneath port rear shelf… Don’t know if the tank was ever replaced but some engineer must have been having a bad day with this design, sending unit fixed and new lines installed to make it all accessible… Have a great Xmas…
