1992 70 hp evinrude tlend

My power trim will only go down and not up. Doesn’t work on motor switch or throttle,only goes down not up. Have power to those points

They’re relays, but you are 100% correct, this is usually the issue. You can see in your picture, you’re running 2 different brands on that motor, so at one point at least one has been changed out.

Switch the relays and see if the problem reverses so the motor only goes up, not down. Then you’ve found your culprit.

Just my opinion, but I’d change them both at the same time if this is the issue. Otherwise it’s only a matter of time.

My 93 just had same issue. Was the relay.
My relays were on top of the motor in a black sealed box
