I got into Gander Mt. just before all the firearms were sold and they had a few Browning 1911-22’s left. So with the 40% markdown and another $50 off for the Browning rebate I grabbed one. What a neat little .22! I still can’t hit a damned thing with a handgun, but at least I now have a fun little 1911 type .22 to amuse myself. Anyone else have one of these little gems?

I bought a used one a few years back. The only ammo I could reliably shoot out of it was CCI. Not a huge issue for me as I don’t shoot 300+ rounds an outing. Very fun little gun! Traded it for a 317 Kit gun. I love revolvers, so it fit me much better.

Sounds fun. .22 pistols are hard to beat in the fun category!

I’ve been waiting on the right deal to come along on a Springfield Armory 9mm 1911 called a Range Officer.
