Been running family members newer fishhawk last couple days. Nice boat, with a 115xs. 18pitch SS prop is terrible on it, holeshot awful max 5800.
Spitfire seems to be pretty well spoken of on here, what type of pitch with one tho? Not sure how a 4blade switches things. Thoughts appreciated,thank you.
If you have a decent dealer,I would start with a 17P and go from there.A good dealer will let you exchange it if you bring it back in the same shape.
I take it that is a 4-stroke engine?
Lugging an engine will kill it faster than operating at almost max RPMs.I am amazed on how many rigs that are over-propped.
