Imo I would move the motor shim a notch or 2 closer to the boat? I’m sure someone knows for sure

Is that a 15 inch on a 20″ transom? I’m looking at the cavitation plate and it’s not below the transom. I’m seeing algae growth on the motor that seems about right for the motor being left on a boat in the water but this boat is clean at that level…no algae.

If you look at the shelf just above the prop and the next one up with the bolts showing, you want the lower unit to be in the water below the transom bottom mid way between those two.

    This ^^^.

Motor shaft looks too short for the boat. Anti-cav plate looks to be above hull line, which would allow cavitation.

Something isn’t right with this setup.

I may be missing something but in the 1st picture the prop closest to the camera is showing raw aluminum and appears to be bent.

It also looks like the motor is not straight up and down with the transom buy the picture it looks like it is tucked in pretty good..

The prop blade looks bent to me. Get the prop fixed or replaced.

Sorry for the late reply guy, im a bit confused here i thought the bottom shelf was acctually the cavitation plate. An yeah the prop is a bent a little i mostly run it in a creek close to the house with a bunch of snags.
