15 years ago I brought Brooke into my home. I consider her my first born. Today we laid her to rest. I miss you already.

    More photos.

15 years is a good run for a lab. My condolences. I’ll probably lose my older lab in a few years. Always tough.

I’m sorry for your loss matt, that is never a easy day. I lost my black lab 5 years ago and still think about her often.

Another good girl goes to the great IDO dog park in the sky.

I have to say I am tearing up writing this. Coincidentally I opened this thread and the song that reminds me of our Athena started playing. I used to sing it to her before she passed.

It’s actually probably not a coincidence.

Sorry for your loss Matt. It’s never easy losing a dog

Sorry to hear the bad news Matt. Losing a pet is never easy. We ourselves have a 15 year old beagle at home right now who doesn’t have a lot of time left either. Going to miss him when he goes.

15 years is good for a Labrador. It’s the memories that last.

sorry to hear this Matt, they are always with you in spirit and I swear even though my GSP Gracie has been gone for three years now that I can still feel her jump on the bed and lay down beside me some nights.

I have done it a number of times and it hurts, so much,
each time. You have many great memories, of 15 years together,
with your best friend ! May they bring you smiles and peace.

Sorry man. I still remember very clearly when I lost my first lab too. It will sting for awhile.
