I just got a free fall, and the spool tension knob doesn’t seem to do anything. That is, no matter how I adjust, there is no difference in drop speed. I plan to give the reel a test run tomorrow from the boat jigging for crappie. can’t find much info on the reel, and doesn’t come with any instructions.
Any info on this reel would be greatly appreciated.

No offense. It is the “drop speed” knob that you’re adjusting and not the reel assembly nut?
i got mine yesterday and it seemed to adjust great on mine. paired mine up with my tucr 32″ precision! gonna test it out a little more tomorrow!
it would be hard to mistake the two for the fact that is does say right above the knob “+ Drop Speed -“
