120 mercruiser

    120 Mercruiser will turn over by hand great, and the starter and solenoid are good, but the same click is there and it won’t start and it sounds like the click is coming from the other side of the engine

    If you jump the starter solenoid does it turn over?

    Put jumper cables directly to the starter + lug and – on the block to see if she cranks, then backtrack from there.
    Either switch, wires,connection or the solenoid/starter or battery have an issue.
