    1960’s?? Didn’t need steel then!! Looks like the Remington and Super X are mostly #2 lead good varmint loads.

    I have some old buckshot, do not use it often. It shoots just fine, but is 00 and I prefer #4 for coyotes. Those old shells smell a lot different when fired. Not sure if because of the propellent or maybe mercury primers, but different.

    Scheels in EP has a ton of this stuff in 2 3/4 right now. Very quality ammo and would be a great pheasant load. $23/box
