Fishing has been pretty good on upper red lake with 10 eyes per day. Lots of eyes in the 17-21” range and some in the 16” class as well as a 14” class. Most fish still caught on dead sticks. With scattered fish in the 10-12’ depths it is still good to be jigging with buckshot spoons or your go to in attracting more fish to the dead sticks. Not much of a daytime bite and with sporadic flurries and most fish coming at night. If you happen to hit pre-frontal drops of the barometric pressure it’s lights out on the rattle reels. Many good resort roads to go out on with some cracks/ridge development with temp fluctuations. Not much snow and 15-17” of ice as long as you keep your eyes out it’s easy getting around.
