12.86 volts at the input power cable, the 1198 blinked six times so I re plugged the cables in until now there is nothing. Hummingbirds $498.00 prepaid to open it up. That won’t happen. Anybody else have this issue? Suggestions?

I think I had the same problem on a smaller unit. I did have to send it in to get repaired, however it wasn’t nearly that much.
I had a similar issue with a Lowrance last year. I opened it up myself and found a 2 amp flat fuse was blown. Replaced the fuse, put it back together and it worked fine.
Thanks for the replays, the hot and cold puns fit so sloppy. A poor connector considering the application required not to mention cost of the unit you expect better quality connectors.
I bent the to pins to make contact. An on the water test with some chop will be next.
