Tricky fishing last evening. Water levels are up considerably (up 3ft), while temps have crashed (down 7* to 60*f) over the past week.
We launched out of the Boom Site launch and went north. Tried some backwaters, edges of the river. Only a few bites. Lost a very nice northern pike on a yellow/blue rattling rap.
We got off the water a little after dark, so I don’t have much to say about night bite.
