What a sad situation
Sad yes. Scary about what may come makes this terrifying.
Makes you wonder what is going to happen when you get the Super Bowls crowds. Hopefully they get there barriers in place by then which will help to shut down traffic on Bourbon street.
Several injured in Vegas
Wow that’s crazy. Hard not to see the symbolism of a Tesla exploding outside a Trump hotel.
The death toll is up to 15 now.
We really live in a messed up world.
Caught a blurb in the news about the increase of these incidents with vehicles as weapons globally is on the rise. Seems like throughout Europe, this is happening frequently. Maybe they didn’t pass a background check for an assault rifle:???: Turning the news on today sure is a hell of a slap of reality. Was fortunate to have a couple days completely isolated from the world for a buddy’s wedding New Years Eve in a small town. The wedding party got together and hung out for a couple days. Did a pheasant hunt, dinner, hung out at hotel,…. The world sure is a different place with all the news turned off. Just sad that people are compelled to engage in these acts of violence against innocent people just trying to enjoy life
The cyber truck was detonated (media said it started on fire or burst into flames) and the driver killed. Both drivers in these attacks were trained at the same military base and the vehicles were both rented off turo apparently. These won’t be the last.
The cyber truck by its design saved lives. There was a dude standing within a few feet of it when it exploded and he wasn’t killed
If only there were some common denominator so we could figure this stuff out…………………………………………………………
Both drivers in these attacks were trained at the same military base and the vehicles were both rented off turo apparently. These won’t be the last.
Did that part make the news? First I heard of it.

You wont hear it from the MSM for sure, but yes, it did make the news on reputable sites.
Seems odd. Not a lot of people calling for restrictions on Autos or at least a background check to buy one. What, No red flag warning laws needed on deadly item like a auto? They is just no way you can stop Evil people from doing evil things in this world.

Maybe if we require them to carry liability insurance in case of manslaughter they might have better background checks. Just a thought.
I also thought it was strange that the rental place was unknown to me but I don’t rent vehicles.

Europe tried with very strict gun laws and banning guns in certain parts of the country. All the criminals did was started to use knives then they put a size restriction on knives to combat that issue. Sometimes common sense isn’t too common.

No surprise you hadnt heard of it because its not a traditional rental company. This is a carsharing company where its individual’s personal vehicles similar to like a VRBO.

yeah, intentional deadly car attacks are as common and happen multiple times every day like gun violence.
such a well thought out, articulated comparison.
Here is the cyber truck renters manifesto.
This dude was a verified armed forces bad ass.
Around 15 minutes they read email from him

Dont think any insurance company covers acts of terror

Same one as Ryan Routh and Timothy McVeigh as well. You can add the puzzle pieces together with the base being the home for the Army’s Psychological Operations division as well as a playground for the CIA and come to your own conclusions.
Reading that manifesto just doesn’t add up any clues as to why cyber truck guy would do something like this IMO. Apparently killed himself first?

Shot himself in the head while in the truck and then blew the truck up. It’s ok, one less nut running around.
Agreed but if what he says is true why do that he couldn’t certainly get the story out knowing his military background just lose all contact. Some of these people are not that smart. Are we sure the gunshot wound was self inflicted?
If you listen to the whole podcast, there’s a plausible theory that the guy faked his death and did this as a way to get people to pay attention to his manifesto – all the stuff about the Afghanistan incident checks out – the drone and gravitational control stuff is somewhere between insane and terrifying, maybe both. Not saying I believe any of it, but it’s very interesting. I like Sean Ryan and his guests are the real deal, terrific insight and uncorrupted. – I try to take it with a grain of salt, like everything else, but if even 10% of the stuff he’s uncovered about our government lying to us is accurate, then we might as well fold-up the tent.
I didn’t read his manifesto, I couldn’t care less what he wrote or what he thinks.
As far as believing the government, those same people would believe every single thing they read on IDO. That thing on your shoulders is more than a hat rack, think about what you hear & see and make up your own minds. Common sense isn’t an uncurable disease.
Dutch I can assure you I don’t believe everything I see and even less what I read. Just curious is all of it was self inflicted and proven. That’s relatively simple to corroborate but I guess not with this government. From what I read he was completely capable of taking down the whole hotel if he wanted to do not sure if he misjudged the cyber truck or that was just family members thinking he was smart or what. Either way he is gone but lots of questions remain.
