I’d like to use this stuff for the walls of a deer hunting box blind. I’m trying a new design and I want something that’s very light for sheathing.

Oh come on now, sheathing is part of his wall. What part of that don’t you understand? Sheathing is not siding.

I would definitely consider the LP smartside soffit panels over 1/2″ treated.

    Sheathing is not siding?

Ask the Fish house builders on Mille Lacs that question. T-111 is the go to product.

I agree, however the cost is prohibited.

Have you looked at foam board. Already insulated, extremely light weight. Foil or paper faced for strength. Paper face or gator faced from Uline 1/4″, 3/16″, 1/2″; Foil faced from building center 1″. Latex paint-able.

since your studding out walls, I would go 1/2″ foam and steel panel. We’ve made quite a few this way and they are quite sturdy once the steel is screwed on.

As for skids to pull them around on. We have a few with doubled 2×12’s (treated) I found some reasonnable priced bar stock of 1/8 x 3″ aluminum and and sheathed the front 1/3 of the rail. holds up ok
