    Caught these and several more 12″ perch on the fishing barge in Guttenberg iowa

    Those things are huge. Hope they are moving north as in 15 years of fishing pool 2 have never seen or heard of anyone catching even a small perch.

    Perch on the river confuse me. I’ve caught some big ones fishing for walleyes in the spring out in the channel below dams but I thought they spawned in backwaters?

    They are getting really big ones in P9 also, check out Clements Fishing Barge on FB or their webpage!!!
