The pics are a little fuzzy but it looks like a little muskie to me. Hit on a 1/32 tube jig while fishing for some pannies today.

    That’s a cool little fish

    I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think it’s a muskie

I googled some pics before this post too. They look pretty close, but I’m not sure. I’ve never heard of any muskies caught in the area I was fishing but anythings possible on the mississippi.

I googled muskie fry and found these. It says they are 1 month old.

    Targaman,
I think your right. I’ve never heard of a logperch, but after a quick search found a pic that is almost identical, even the black spot by the tail. Thanks for your help.

    Hey Randy,
Yes this was caught on the back waters of the miss. by Wabasha, I caught one a few years ago on the lake too and just thought it was muskie fry. The only problem I had with this is that I’ve only heard of a couple muskie ever caught on Lake Pepin. These little guys could pass as a muskie fry though.

Had a smallmouth on Pool 2 today that coughed one up. The smallmouth hit a parrot colored hair jig with black bars on it.
